*Pablo Picasso — Fragmentation, Cubism & Multiple Perspectives*

Pablo Picasso’s exploration of Cubism has deeply influenced the way I construct and deconstruct the human figure. His fragmentation of form, multiple perspectives, geometric planes, and willingness to challenge conventional representation encouraged me to move beyond realistic depiction. In my work, I translate this influence through cubic forms, fragmented faces and bodies, bold outlines, and overlapping planes that allow a figure to be viewed psychologically as well as physically. Picasso’s influence has given me the freedom to distort and reconstruct reality while retaining the emotional and symbolic presence of the human figure.
